Norwegian Toast Cookies(Tebrod) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    3 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cardamom, vanilla or anise flavoring
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together in order given.
    Dough should be sticky, but not real glossy.
    You may have to add a tablespoon or so more flour.
    On a greased cookie sheet, spoon and shape into 3 loaves.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Remove from oven; slice loaves.
    Arrange slices, cut side down, on cookie sheet and bake another 15 minutes at 375\u00b0 or until golden brown.
    Each loaf makes 18 slices.
    To make daintier slices, make loaves larger or narrower.
    These are very good.
