Top Me Twice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. flaked coconut
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    13 1/2 oz. can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
Preparation
    Grease 12 x 8-inch cake pan.
    Combine sugar, vanilla and eggs in a large bowl.
    Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
    At low speed, add flour, soda and pineapple; mix 1 minute.
    Pour into pan. Sprinkle with mix of brown sugar and pecans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Just before cake is done, prepare sauce.
    Pour over warm cake.
