Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
5 eggs, separated
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Cream Crisco, butter and sugar.
Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
