Chocolate Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa

Preparation

Boil water; take from heat and mix all ingredients together. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes in 9 x 13 dish.
