Strawberry Pretzel Surprise - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. pretzels, crushed
2 Tbsp. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
2 c. boiling water
10 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries
3/4 c. margarine, melted
1 c. sugar
9 oz. Cool Whip
6 oz. pkg. strawberry jello
8 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation

Combine pretzels, sugar and oleo.
Mix well.
Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 7 minutes.
Then cool.
Blend together cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and Cool Whip.
Spread over cooled crust.
Dissolve jello in 2 cups boiling water.
Stir in strawberries and pineapple.
Chill until thick.
Pour over cream cheese layer.
Chill thoroughly.
