Seven Minute Frosting(Never Fails) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites (unbeaten)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    5 Tbsp. water
    1 1/2 tsp. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    In top of double boiler, combine egg whites, sugar, salt and water, beating constantly with portable mixer and cook exactly seven
    minutes.
    Frosting should stand in stiff peaks.
    Remove from heat, adding vanilla and beat until thick enough to spread. Covers pound cake all over generously.
