Sheath Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. shortening
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk or milk and vinegar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
2 beaten eggs
Preparation

Sift flour and sugar and set aside.
Bring to boil in saucepan the margarine, shortening, cocoa and water.
Combine the flour and sugar in the liquid ingredients and stir in buttermilk, cinnamon, vanilla, soda and eggs.
Pour into greased 12 x 18-inch cookie sheet or jelly roll pan with 1/2-inch sides.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Five minutes before done, make up icing.
Frost cake as soon as taken from oven.
