Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
3 c. plain flour
1 1/4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. chopped apples
1 1/2 c. pecans
Preparation

Mix sugar, oil, vanilla, eggs and lemon juice.
Add salt, flour, soda, nutmeg and cinnamon to mixture.
Fold in apples and pecans.
Bake in tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
When cake is done, mix 1 cup brown sugar and enough apple juice to make thin. Pour over cake and let set 1 hour before turning out of pan.
