Marinated Sausage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. salad oil
1/2 c. white wine vinegar
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 large red onion
1 to 2 lb. cooked smoked sausage
3 to 4 tomatoes
Preparation

Mix first seven ingredients together in a measuring cup; set aside.
Slice red onion very thin.
Slice sausage at a bias cut. Slice tomatoes thin, also.
Put ingredients in a marinade container or bowl with an airtight lid and marinate at least 8 hours.
Overnight is best.
Serve with Ritz or other crackers.
