Ingredients

2 c. red beets, sliced
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 or 4 whole cloves
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. cold water
1 small piece stick cinnamon
6 hard-cooked eggs
Preparation

Boil together all ingredients, except eggs.
Put in jar or container with lid.
Add eggs and refrigerate for 2 days.
