Hot Garlic Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 cucumbers
    4 garlic buds
    4 fresh dill heads
    2 jalapeno peppers
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    2 c. water (distilled)
    2 heaping Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Scrub cucumbers with a brush (do not peel).
    Trim off ends and cut into quarters lengthwise.
    In the bottom of a quart jar, place 1 dill head.
    Place cucumbers lengthwise in the jar.
    Add 1/2 of 1 jalapeno pepper and 1 garlic bud.
    Press down between cucumber pieces.
    Add another dill head and another row of cucumbers.
    Press another garlic bud and another 1/2 of a jalapeno pepper in between cucumbers (this makes 2 quarts).
    Fill jar, covering with liquid.
