Escalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 saltines, crushed
    1 qt. shredded cabbage
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 c. milk
    6 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Place 1/2
    of
    saltines
    in a buttered casserole; cover with cabbage.
    Sprinkle
    with
    salt,
    pepper
    and celery seed. Scald milk.
    Add 4 tablespoons butter and let melt.
    Pour milk and butter
    over; top with remaining crumbs.
    Dot with remaining butter.
    Cover
    and
    bake at 350` for 35 minutes.
    Uncover and bake 15 minutes.
    Yield 6 servings.
