Aunt Lela Burton'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. plain unsifted flour
2 c. sugar
8 eggs
1/4 lb. (1/2 c.) margarine
1/2 c. Crisco
sprinkle salt
1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Grease and flour 10-inch tube cake pan. Cream margarine, Crisco and sugar together.
Add eggs, one at a time, and beat until creamy.
Add flavoring, salt and flour.
Beat until creamy.
Bake for about 1 1/2 hours or until tests done. Cake will freeze well.
Add an extra egg if more moisture needed.
