Mini Chip Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. light brown sugar, packed
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate mini chips
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt butter in saucepan; stir in brown sugar.
    Remove from heat; pour into small mixer bowl.
    Cool.
    Beat egg and vanilla into cooled mixture.
    Add flour and salt, mixing just until well blended.
    Stir in mini chips.
    Spoon into greased 8 or 9-inch square pan.
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from edges of pan.
    Cool; frost if desired. Cut into squares.
    Yields 16 brownies.
