All American Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 1/4 c. ketchup
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1/3 c. cider vinegar
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Saute onion and garlic until soft.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
    Cover and let stand for 1 hour for better flavors.
    Cool and refrigerate for up to a week.
    Makes 2 cups.
