Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    1 leek, minced
    1 carrot, minced
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 head broccoli, cut up into flowerets (I use some of the stalk for this, also)
    1 c. heavy cream
    pinch of cayenne
    1 tsp. celery seed
    4 c. chicken stock
Preparation
    Melt butter over medium heat.
    Add carrot, leek and garlic; cook until tender, but do not brown.
    Add stock; bring to simmer. Add broccoli; cook 8 to 10 minutes, until broccoli is tender. Pour soup into food processor; process until vegetables are finely chopped but not pureed.
    Pour back into pot.
    Add cream, pepper and celery seed.
