Ingredients

1 box brown sugar
6 eggs (yolks)
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. white sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
Preparation

Mix brown sugar, eggs and milk together, then separately mix white sugar, flour and cornstarch; then mix and add to mixture. Add vanilla and butter, then add 1 quart boiling hot water.
Stir and let thicken.
Pour into baked pie shells.
