Peaches And Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. 13 oz. canned sliced peaches
    3 5/8 oz. instant vanilla pudding
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1/2 c. sherry (optional)
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Drain peaches in bowl and chill.
    Mix pudding with milk and refrigerate 5 minutes.
    Beat whipping cream until stiff.
    Fold in chilled pudding mixture.
    Refrigerate 10 minutes.
    Add sherry if you wish, mixing well.
    Spread over peaches.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Chill until ready to serve.
