No Weep Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    3 egg whites
Preparation
    In a small saucepan, combine cornstarch, sugar and water. Heat until clear over medium heat, stirring constantly.
    Set aside to cool.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add 6 tablespoons of sugar a small amount at a time.
    Add cornstarch mixture and beat until peaks form.
    Put on your favorite pie and bake until brown.
