French Canadian Meat Pies(Makes 2) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. lean ground pork
1 lb. lean ground beef
2 c. onions, finely chopped
2 tsp. salt
3 medium potatoes, cooked and mashed
pie crust for 2 pies
1 tsp. celery salt
1 1/2 to 2 tsp. ground pepper
1/2 tsp. sage
1 c. water
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
Preparation

Combine pork and beef in large pan.
Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring, until meat is brown.
Then drain.
Stir in poultry seasoning, salt, celery salt, pepper, sage and water.
Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
Uncover and simmer 10 minutes longer.
Remove from heat and stir in mashed potatoes.
