Beef Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bread, finely crumbled
    2/4 c. water
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    3/4 tsp. salt
    pepper as desired
Preparation
    Put bread and water in a bowl.
    Add rest of ingredients; mix well and shape into six (1/2-inch thick) patties.
    Cook in greased frypan over medium heat, turning once to brown both sides.
    Makes 6 servings.
