Chicken Breasts Parmesan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 boneless chicken breast halves (about 1 lb.)
    3/4 c. bread crumbs
    3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
    2 tsp. oregano
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten with 1 Tbsp. water
    vegetable oil
Preparation
    Lightly pound chicken breasts between sheets of wax paper to an even thickness.
    Combine bread crumbs, cheese, oregano, pepper and salt.
    Coat each chicken piece with egg, then with crumb mixture pressing crumbs firmly and thoroughly over chicken surface.
    Pour enough oil into a large skillet to make 1/4-inch depth.
    Heat over medium high heat.
    Saute chicken, two pieces at a time, until golden brown, about 3 minutes on each side.
    Drain on paper toweling; keep warm.
    Repeat with remaining chicken pieces, adding a little more oil if needed.
