Pea Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 c. leftover peas
    3 Tbsp. to 1/2 c. flour
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    pepper and salt as desired
Preparation
    Prepare skillet with shortening or oil for frying.
    Mash peas with a fork and add egg, flour, pepper and salt.
    Stir, then drop with tablespoon in patties in skillet.
    Fry on medium to low heat until brown on each side.
    Serve with mashed potatoes.
