Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening or butter
    2 c. brown sugar
    4 eggs (large)
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. liquid jelly, molasses or coffee
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. dates
    1 c. nuts
    2 1/2 c. mixed fruit
Preparation
    Use two 9 x 5-inch pans. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 3 hours.
    For an angel cake pan, bake 2 1/2 hours.
