Birthday Cake Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. Crisco
2 boxes powdered sugar
3 Tbsp. water
lemon, vanilla or almond flavoring

Preparation

Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff.
Add Crisco, powdered sugar, water, and flavoring.
Beat until desired spreading consistency.
