Diviinty - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. water
    3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
    1/2 c. chopped black walnuts
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and water to soft ball stage.
    Add half of hot mixture to egg whites and beat until cool.
    Let remaining syrup cool until it forms hard ball in cold water.
    Add to egg white mixture, and beat until smooth.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Pour into buttered pan; spread 1 inch thick.
    Cut into squares.
