Ginger Cream Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. soft shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. molasses
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix shortening, sugar, egg, molasses and water together.
    Stir in all dry ingredients until well blended.
    Chill dough.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls, about 2-inches apart, on cookie sheet.
    Bake just until set, about 6 to 8 minutes in 400\u00b0 oven.
    While still warm, frost with Coffee Cream Frosting.
