Mad Hatter Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 diced green pepper
    1 diced onion
    1 can chicken with rice soup
    1 can tomato soup
    1 c. water
    1 beaten egg
    1 or 2 lb. ground beef
    2 pieces bread, torn or 1 c. cracker crumbs
    1/3 c. milk or evaporated milk
Preparation
    Brown green pepper and onion in margarine.
    Stir in rice soup, tomato soup and water.
    Form meatballs from remaining ingredients. Drop into sauce.
    Simmer, covered, on low for 1 hour.
    Simmer, uncovered, for about 15 minutes or until thick.
    Great served with mashed potatoes.
