Mary Ruth Ferguson'S Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    2 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    3 c. flour
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. dates
    1 c. jam
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. preserves
    1 shredded apple
Preparation
    Mix as you would any other cake.
    Bake in 3 layers at 325\u00b0 until tests done.
