Pepper Relish(Uncooked) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    2 large onions
    2 red peppers
    2 green peppers
    1 1/4 c. granulated sugar
    1/3 c. salt
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Chop the vegetables in the meat grinder, using medium blade. Sprinkle with salt and allow to stand overnight.
    Drain.
    Add the sugar, celery and mustard seed, water and vinegar to cover to the chopped vegetables.
    Mix together then jar.
    Makes 4 pints.
