Layered Green Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, cut up
    1/2 c. celery
    1/2 c. green pepper
    1/2 c. green onions
    1/2 c. cauliflower (optional)
    1 small can English peas, drained
    2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Put lettuce in bowl; add the next 5 ingredients, one on top of another.
    Mix mayonnaise and sugar.
    Spread on top.
    Cover with grated cheese; cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.
    Boiled eggs can be used instead of cheese.
