Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 1/2 c. self rising corn meal
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs, beaten
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 can cream style corn
    1/4 c. jalapeno peppers, chopped
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 lb. browned ground beef
Preparation
    Grease a 10 1/2 inch cast iron skillet with 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil. Sprinkle corn meal over oil and let it brown slightly. Combine next 5 ingredients in a bowl, stirring well. Pour half of corn meal mixture into skillet. Sprinkle with 1 c. cheese, ground beef and peppers. Top with remaining corn meal mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
