Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
3 oz. pkg. strawberry jello mix
red food coloring (optional)
1 pt. capped, washed, sliced strawberries
1 baked pie shell

Preparation

Boil water, mix cornstarch and sugar well; add to water and stir well.\tBlend, cook over moderate hot heat until clear and thickened.\tTake
off stove and add strawberry jello, mix well. Bake
pie
shell.
Let mixture cool.
Add food coloring (optional), fold in strawberries and pour in baked pie shell.
