Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. yellow corn meal mix
1/2 c. flour
1 egg
1 Tbsp. plus 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. chopped onion
pinch of soda
buttermilk
1 small can cream-style corn

Preparation

Mix dry ingredients; add egg, corn and slowly add buttermilk, just enough to make balls.
Form balls and drop into hot grease; brown.
