Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 c. mashed bananas
Preparation
    Sift flour. Measure. Add baking powder, soda and salt and sift again. Cream shortening. Add sugar gradually and cream together until light and fluffy. Add well beaten eggs and mix thoroughly. Add vanilla and dry ingredients alternately with milk and mashed bananas, stirring only enough after each addition to blend thoroughly. Bake at 375\u00b0 about 25 minutes.
