Granny'S Fried Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 or 12 apples
    1 stick oleo, melted
    1 c. brown sugar or to taste
Preparation
    Wash, peel, core and quarter apples.
    Place in large heavy skillet with a little water and cook apples until slightly tender. Add sugar and oleo and cook until right consistency, being careful not to burn.
    Serves 6 to 8.
