Pecan Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup chopped pecans
    16 saltine crackers, crumbled
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 cups cool whip
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until foamy; add cream of tartar.
    Gradually add sugar while beating.
    When stiff, fold in pecans, crackers and vanilla.
    Pour into a greased 9-inch pie pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
    Cool. Spread whipped topping on pie and keep refrigerated.
