Irish Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. diced bacon
3 c. cubed potatoes
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/4 c. fresh marjoram
3 c. beef stock
3/4 c. cubed carrots
3/4 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped leeks
1 c. heavy cream
salt and pepper
Preparation
-
Saute bacon.
Add potatoes, onion, marjoram and beef stock. Cook 25 minutes.
Add leeks, carrots and celery.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Add cream.
Cook 5 minutes.
Season.
Garnish with parsley.
