Salmon Hot Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 medium carrots (1-inch pieces)
    4 to 6 celery stalks (1-inch pieces)
    8 to 10 small onions
    15 1/2 oz. can salmon, drained (reserve)
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. Cheddar or American cheese, grated
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, combine carrots, celery, onions, water and salt.
    Bring to boil, covered, for 15 minutes or until tender. Drain liquid into 2 cup measure.
    Place vegetables in serving dish.
    Cover to keep warm.
    Using saucepan, melt margarine and blend in flour.
    Use salmon liquid and vegetable liquid and enough milk to make 2 cups.
    Stir into flour mixture.
    Cook over medium heat.
    Add cheese and Worcestershire sauce until thickened.
    Pour over vegetables and salmon.
    Serve over baking powder biscuits or mashed potatoes.
