Italian Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 small cauliflower, cut up
    2 carrots (2-inch strips)
    2 stalks celery (1-inch strips)
    1 green pepper (2-inch strips)
    1 jar pimentos, drained
    1 jar green olives, drained
    3/4 c. wine vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Place in large skillet and simmer with 1/2 cup water.
    Bring to a boil and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
    Cool and refrigerate 24 hours.
    Drain well before serving.
