Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 potatoes, cut or diced
    3 carrots, shredded
    6 celery stalks, diced
    2 qt. water
    2 onions, chopped
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    instant potato flakes
Preparation
    Cook potatoes, carrots, celery and onions in water until tender. Add milk, butter and potato flakes until soup is of desired thickness.
