Caramel Nut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
    1 box light brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    5 large eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sweet milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and brown sugar a little at a time. Beat well.
    Add white granulated sugar.
    Beat until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
    Beat 3 minutes.
    Sift together dry ingredients; add alternately with milk to creamed mixture.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Bake in a tube pan which has been greased and floured.
    Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
