Sweet And Sour Pork Chops - cooking recipe

4 lean pork chops
all-purpose flour
salt
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 (13 1/4 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
1 small green pepper, cut in rings
1 c. chicken broth
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1/3 c. catsup
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
hot cooked rice
Preparation

Sprinkle chops with salt; dredge in flour.
Brown chops in hot oil on both sides.
Place chops in a shallow 10-inch square casserole dish.
Top with pineapple and green pepper rings. Combine next 4 ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium.
Combine cornstarch and water; stir well. Add cornstarch mixture to chicken broth mixture.
Stir constantly until thickened and bubbly.
Pour over chops.
Cover and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
Serve over rice.
