Italian Meatballs With Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 onions, chopped
    1 box fresh mushrooms
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 1/2 c. tomatoes
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
    2 bay leaves
    1 lb. ground round steak
    1/4 ground pork
    1 c. cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    1 Tbsp. garlic salt
    1/2 c. milk
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 (7 oz.) pkg. long thin spaghetti
Preparation
    Cook onion in hot olive oil until golden brown, add mushrooms and brown slightly.
    Add tomatoes, tomato paste, water, sugar, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and bay leaves.
    Cook slowly 1 hour.
    Combine meats and the next 6 ingredients; form into small balls.
    Brown in a small amount of hot olive oil.
    Drain meatballs on paper towels.
    Add meatballs to sauce and cook over low heat 15 minutes.
    Serve over spaghetti.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
