Chow-Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. green tomatoes
    1 large cabbage
    4 Tbsp. salt
    6 to 7 green peppers
    9 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 tsp. mustard or 1 Tbsp. pickling spice
Preparation
    Chop first 4 ingredients.
    Leave 1 hour.
    Drain.
    Put vegetables on stove and add other ingredients.
    Bring to a boil. Pack in jars and seal.
