Fiesta Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 c. flour
1 c. yellow meal
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) cheese
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can cream-style corn
1 (4 oz.) can chopped mild or hot green chilies
1/3 c. milk
2 eggs
Preparation

Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
Use an 8 or 9-inch square pan.
Melt shortening in pan in oven.
Combine dry ingredients.
Add to melted shortening and remaining ingredients.
Mix until just blended.
Pour into pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.
