Jim'S Baked Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium potatoes
1 tsp. salt
2 to 3 Tbsp. melted butter
2 to 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh herbs (parsley, chives, sage or your choice)
4 Tbsp. grated Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Peel potatoes, or just scrub and rinse.
Cut potatoes into thin slices but not all the way through.
Use a handle of a spoon to prevent knife from cutting through.
Put potatoes in baking dish; fan slightly.
Sprinkle with salt, butter and herbs.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for about 50 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Sprinkle with cheeses. Bake potatoes for another 10 to 15 minutes, until lightly brown, cheese is melted and potatoes are soft inside.
Serve with bacon bits.
