Summer Strawberry Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. red port wine
    1 tsp. minced ginger root
    1/4 c. heavy cream
    3 pt. fresh strawberries (hulled)
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh mint
    1 or 2 Tbsp. raspberry vinegar or white wine vinegar
    sliced fresh strawberries or fresh mint (optional)
Preparation
    In a 1-quart saucepan bring wine and ginger to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
    Add heavy cream.
    Return to boiling and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
