Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
4 eggs, slightly beaten
3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
3 scant tsp. soda
3 Tbsp. milk
2/3 c. whiskey
1 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
1 lb. candied cherries, chopped
1/2 box white raisins
2 lb. pecan halves
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and mix well.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Reserve 1/2 cup to dredge fruit and nuts. Combine dry ingredients with creamed mixture alternately with the liquids.
Add fruits and nuts.
Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes in a slow oven.
Makes 200.
