Nantucket Cinnamon Toasts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. granulated sugar
6 (1/2-inch thick) slices white bread, crusts removed and cut into 4 strips
1 stick unsalted butter melted in saucepan
4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

In a wide, shallow bowl stir together sugar and cinnamon. With one strip of bread at a time quickly coat in butter, let excess drip off, turn quickly in cinnamon sugar.
Bake on lightly buttered baking sheet in upper third of 375\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes. Turn over and bake 10 minutes more.
Serve warm.
